SCCA Targa
Four routes. One adventure. Targa is SCCA’s multi‑day, multi‑track road and track experience that blends exploration, driver development, and friendly competition. In 2026 we’re making it easier than ever to join the journey—more flexibility, clearer info, and the same unforgettable vibes.
What’s New for 2026

How Targa Works (Daily Flow)
A typical Targa track day focuses on learning and progression with clear on‑ramp sessions for newer drivers:
- Paced Laps — 4 laps to learn the layout (with another set before practice for optional driver swaps).
- TrackSprint — When the facility allows, we open the day with a TrackSprint: no traffic, a partial/safer section of the course, perfect for new drivers.
- Two Practice Sessions — Split them however you like between drivers.
- Two Competition Sessions
- Session 1: Best single lap
- Session 2: Three‑lap cumulative
In total, teams get six separate on‑track opportunities each day. You can divide them evenly, tailor to comfort/competitiveness, or have one driver run them all.
Targa runs Wednesday through Saturday morning, with the option (and encouragement!) to stay for the full Tire Rack SCCA Time Attack Challenge weekend at the final track.
